Rapid River Fondo

And, More Bike Rides for All Levels

By Darryl Caron

This Saturday, June 4, Adirondack Multi-Sport Club is excited to host the first annual Rapid River Fondo to benefit the Adirondack Cycling Advocates. If you’re missing the popular Tour de Cure event in Saratoga Springs, this ride is a worthy replacement – also for a good cause. With three distance options, there is an appropriate distance for riders of all abilities. Bring a friend, family member or coworker, and join the 33-mile, 48-mile or 62-mile bike rides along some of the southern Adirondack’s most picturesque roads and waterways.

All rides start at 10am and include support and rest stops at The Hub in Brant Lake. The ride benefits the Adirondack Cycling Advocates, which promotes safe and quality bicycling in the southern Adirondacks. The Rapid River rides start/finish at Warrensburg Fish Hatchery in Warrensburg, just 35 minutes north of Saratoga Springs. To learn more and view course maps, visit: https://www.adirondackmultisport.com/rapid-river-fondo. Sponsors include The Hub, Common Roots Brewing, Rick’s Bike Shop, Canoe Island Lodge, Closet Rescue and T3 Coaching. To register, go to: www.bikereg.com/rapid-river-fondo.
